I am of the opinion that there is a symbiotic relationship among all creatures. If man did not eat meat or plants, would he survive? What if someday a group begins to advocte that plants should not be eaten either. Then what next? As long as we are not cruel in what we do then we are on moral grounds.

I love a good steak - but only when I think it came from the grocery store wrapped in plastic. I'm with Taps on this one. Mal

From Buddahs's Little Instruction Book

When I eat meat, I definitely do not want to think about from whence it came.

I agree with Justy. you said it superbly... I for one would turn Vegetarian for moral reasons... eating flesh seems ...not right...but I like meat so much!.... I guess I should ... and I could... but would I? Maybe when I get older.

Yick!
More reasons for vegetarianism! Last year when we were in Scotland, I loved seeing lambs in the meadows but not on anyone's plate! On one menu the chef was very specific..."Black-faced Lamb". It was shortly after that when I gave up meat.

I once thought of making a menu, with pics of course, of all the roadkills I see on the side of the road: splattered skunk, squashed squirrel, faisandé raccoon, blotched deer, etc. Could be great, don't you think?!
