Talk about walking a mile in another's shoes
Any great revelations learned other than they didn't fit.

TAPS. I am so sorry about the coat
as for me, I won't miss this pair of sandals I promise you.  While they were comfortable and all, they were a little "mummy' type, if you know what I mean.  Even though i am a Mummy, I have a certain associaiton with artciles of clothing, bags and fottwear which is fuddy duddy. This qualifies as such.

I've never had it happen with shoes but I once lost a nice coat that way in the wintertime.  I didn't want the one that was left so I ran out to my car and shivered until the heater began putting out warmth.  That was a long time ago and I still miss that coat.

~ Pat B said what I was going to say. I would only add that I would not want to wear someone elses shoes... shoes that belonged to someone else always hurt my feet. ~OTA

I've heard of this, but it's never happened to me.
So now you can test that old saying -- if you want to understand someone, walk a mile in their shoes...
