I'm so sorry you feel that way. You seem very angry. I'm also very angry, but in completely the opposite ways.
Just a couple things... the people who 'Swiftboated' Kerry admitted they were lying. John Kerry was an eloquent, decent man, whose main flaw was that he overestimated the American People's ability to reject the lies being told about him.
Jimmy Carter is a Nobel Prize winning Christian man with grace and strong convictions, who amazingly enough did not get us into a war.
The terrorist are not rising from Iran, but from Palestine. Palestine happened after WWII, not while Jimmy Carter was president.
Peace in Israel and Palestine will not come through war. If that were possible, it would have happened already.
In my opinion, we went into Iraq for oil and W's neurotic need to finish what he felt his father hadn't finished, and because 'god told him to'. That can be debated, I'm sure, but it's public fact that he says he prayed and that this is what he thought god told him to do.
Many, many people have died in Iraq. Men, women, and children, American and Iraqi, have suffered and grieved and sobbed and it's not over yet. If we had not gone into Iraq, fewer people would be dead, and the heart of terrorism would still be the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The active terrorists are still in Afghanistan, just like they were when we invaded Iraq.
Demonizing our enemies is a time tested and true form of propaganda that works really well for getting people to kill each other.
All life is precious. Diversity is precious. Murdering, vengeful, foot stomping bullies aren't very practical.
