A tongue so sweetly expressing half truths... and errors in historical
fact.
You sound so reasonable in every post and then put half the story up as the whole story and put timed and distressful happenings on the last ball holder and not on the person who hogged the ball throughout almost the entire game.
Democrats and liberals did NOT dream up all of the creative economics and voodoo hoodoo that have slowly and surely brought our nations to its present position, its knees.
Just because they tried to undo some of the Bush horrors, things fell apart as Bush couldn't artificially hold them up any longer, or was Unwilling to hold them up any longer and just let it all go........the bubble having burst.
The next president has a terrible job ahead, fixing the conservative, or rather, Republican economic damage to our nation. It cannot be done, I fear.
Because it suddenly paid under new Republicans and their new economic policies to remove manufacturing from our shores, the factories left and the jobs went with them. They killed Detroit and the factory owners in Detroit who failed to deal with realities such as the gas shortage back then, they destroyed themselves, their citiy's suburbs and the citizens in them. But, only after the Republicans sucked off and sold off all of the equity in each business, and then looted, raided, cancelled, bought off or whatever pension plans, etc.
That old garbage which started this latest round of hoodoo voodoo bubbles was never stopped, never dealt with and so, it grew like a malignant liquid filled tumor on our nation and burst again. Democrats did none of this. Liberals did none of this.
