Hi symphony sweetie
- long time no hear, I must stop by your place and read to catch up.  I hope you are doing well and not having to deal with 'them' any more.

Hi Taps
thanks for looking in on me:)  trust me, the kind of poems I might have been inspired to write lately would have depressed everyone as well as myself LOL - seem to be a lot brighter and long may it continue.

Hi Naut, how are you?
and I'm so happy to have the support :) I do feel more on top today - no noise from my spouse lately (my daughter more than making up for it but that's a whole other ball game) and life is quiet.  I'll stop by your place later ... mine's a marguerita LOL

Hi Ladychardonnay
and thanks for visiting my blog, don't think I've seen you here before:)  I really didn't expect to hear any more, but then look what came through the door - well, we'll see what we see won't we.  I will have gone back to work (in the new year) by the time they sort it all out.  Is it worth it I wonder.  The cupboard isn't bare yet.

Probably good advice Pat B
however, it was all too hard and I gave up, only to come home to another communication in which I have to describe the exact nature of my incapacity.  If it includes my mental state, there is a little section in which I can tell them about 'problems I have dealing with other people' ..... it is so-o-o tempting to be facetious LOL

Good luck with everything...
I can imagine how hard things have been.....I have had similar problems myself ...

mneme, Do you think you will ever get things just right so that you might be inclined to write poems once more?

I have just been catching up here - this post and the earlier one - and what strikes me is that, in spite of the misery and bureaucratic imperviousness and intransigence, at bottom you do sound well, and determined - and if you keep that up, things will get better! And I certainly wish you the best...

There's a slogan about dealing with bureaucrats (or working in a
govt office) "It's hard to fly like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys."  You just have to out-crat them; cross every T, dot every I, fill out every form, and keep the BS going until you get what you are entitled to. The merry-go-round will still be going long after they've retired and must suffer at the hands of their replacements. I hope that thought brings some comfort.
