Stuff just seems to follow me home. It is going. I am really getting rid of it.

Justi, I hate clutter so I don't keep stuff unless it is very, very special for one reason or another. I make regular trips to thrift stores with bags, boxes of stuff that may help their cause. I make regular trips down the way to the dumpster for tossing (good exercise). Now son is quite different from me on that, actually both KC sons. They get the hoarding gene from their father. I'm always after them to get rid of stuff they don't need. They never pay attention on that score. Very often, I make "refrigerator soup" out of store-bought chicken broth and anything that still looks appetizing. I throw out anything that I can't remember what it is. LOL

Justi, I feel the same about wasting food. So when it finally goes off I feel vindicated about throwing it out. As for junk, I'm a hoarder too. I keep thinking I need to cull the unnecessary stuff in my home because if I had to die suddenly my poor family will be left with the awful job and guilt of throwing out my sentimental stuff.

Justi, i go through the junk mail every week, pitch it.
I go through my house once a week to declutter, but I too am due to an overall serious decluttering and dejunking! I agree w/ sam that it helps to move every few years just to get rid of all the unnecessaries!!
So don't fill the void!!!

If I haven't touched it in two years, it is out the door. I seem to move every three years and that makes for a lot od discarding of 'junk.' I do the same with mail. My other deal is handle everything once. sam
