Thanks everyone... don't really want to be on my own but it's better than making another mistake. Can't believe I trusted so much... I've put my trust in God now and it's in his hands. You don't stop loving someone just because they want you to.

Sam is right, you are not begging you are asking for what you need, there is a difference. Good luck and Good for you about being on your own to find yourself.

You must have the mindset set that you are entitled to services that will help get you well. It is not about whining but about getting the services you NEED! sam

It is difficult I know to speak of these things to a stranger
I steel myself to call to discuss debts I cannot pay. ".....the thought of having to tell, yet again, my circumstances to a stranger (one who will no doubt look at me and wonder how someone with my obvious intelligence can get into this state)" The reality is they are probably thinking of what they will do at home that evening, or the person at home giving them grief, or the person unfound. They see people to whom life happens every day. Do what needs to be done. Don't be hard on yourself.

The hesitation you feel because of the job interview, being made to discuss
your deepest misery with another stranger, is not surprising. You've been emotionally sunburned, and the surface needs to heal a bit before further exposure. It's normal to fear more exposure to excessive heat. The good news is, you're healing. And you'll get through this -- so you cry. You're worth a few tears. :)
