I commend you! I do a little volunteering, (I am a volunteer mediator, dealing with young offenders and their victims), but I find that I am just too busy to do more. But I do recognize the value of volunteer work - it really is a win-win deal for both, the client and the volunteer...

I think you are so correct to volunteer. I like what you are doing they seem to be exciting. I am co-editor for the Advent book for our church. We began work yesterdsay and it is going to be so much fun to see how it comes together.
Thank you for your kind comment at my poetry blog, I love the 17th century poets and would have been so at home in that century. sammy

Re:
Wow, Vogue - glad I can be some inspiration. I really believe in "giving back" especially since I've been "given to" in my own times of need. Mal

Re: In my early 20s, I studied a lot about the seven feasts including Yom
Ari - that fascinates me. Did you know that your name means "lion of G-d" in Hebrew? Ari is Lion and is a popular Hebrew name.

Whilst I am most definitely all for volunteering............
we do have to be careful to throw in the odd "no" at times before it consumes us! A most interesting insight to your world my dear; many blessings and thanks for sharing

Thanks very much for pushing me in the right direction. I was already thinking of doing something at the Dade county college or the opera and ballet in Miami. I'll definitely persue these ideas once I'm back.

In my early 20s, I studied a lot about the seven feasts including Yom
Kippur. I am a Sabbath keeper (Saturday Sabbath) but a Christian...I find it all so interesting. Thanks for your interesting post!
