This is so good! I love to give! I have a small bicycle ministry. I buy experienced bikes, fix them up and give them to under privileged kids. It feels good, just  like you say! sammy

You can give without loving, but you cannot love without giving.         I saw that practically every Sunday of my life.  It was written in an area across the organ pipes at the front of our church above the podium.   My dad always told us, "You haven't given anything at all until you give more that the tithe because the tithe already belongs to God."

All good advice. I try to remind my kids that there are a lot of people in need and that they should try to step outside of themselves on occasion and help others. Usually, they role their eyes......"sure, Mom".........but, I'm hoping that what I have to say to them will "stick" in their unconscious and surface at a later date. I was collecting donations for a friend whose child is severely handicapped........I told my boys about it......."no problem, Mom".......they each wrote a check for $50.00. So far, so good Mal.......we're doin okay.
