O benzinha, you delight my heart
and are the person after my heart. I love your comment. I am so much like this. I have been a silver person all my life and now that my hair is so salt and pepper, I still wear a lot of silver. I convinced the same friend -Gouri - to try more silver. She comes form South India, where gold and diamonds are a BIG deal. I gifted her some of my antique collection of silver rings, earrings and bracelets. She was delighted. Like you, I give more and more away. It's a great feeling - to share - and then liberate yourelf. Yes?

Like Spitfire's blog on finding her wedding rings, magically.
I gave away all valuables early, to daughters, granddaughters and daughters-in-law. I have no real treasures anymore and I feel so free.
I would miss my record albums, my computer (desktop) and my digital camera and that would be it. All electronics are gone, all real jewelry is gone, everything.
I wear only silver and turquoise and I wear it daily, so, that is where it is, daily. Otherwise, costume jewelry and the silver and turquoise are on the bookcase shelf to be stolen if they must, but it all came from pawn shops at very low prices, so.....no worries.
Thieves go straight for locks anyway, no? They scream, valuables here.
I like the little lock boxes that look like electrical outlets that we have here, or the cans of soda in the fridge that hold valuables, or the leather books on the shelf that are really a box for valuables. Much more fun to hide things like that, in the open and looking like nothing.
A friend of mine keeps her things in the bottom of her dirty clothes bag....in her closet and another friend keeps hers in a plastic bag at the bottom of her garbage can with another garbage bag on top of that, the one in her office.
So many places, so few valuables, I find. I could put mine in a plastic bag inside my huge bag of dried dog food, for instance....what thief would look there?

Love the connections and little webs of the universe spinning out
in your blog. The connectedness of friends to lost keys to questions about what is valuable and how to treat it. Nicely done.
