Pat B, yes, and the challenge in part is that the nature of the virus -
gives us new information all the time - so we can develop strategies to tackle them. So much yet needs to be done to learn about HIV/AIDs, prevent and cure it.

It is very admorable to be involved in such an important project. As a retired OB nurse, AIDS has always been a priority. My direct care of AIDS patients came when I worked home health and giving IV meds and end of life care.

They've made some progress over the past 25 years, I hope they find
a way to prevent transmission to infants from their infected mothers. This plague is worse than anyone could have imagined when polio was the big scary disease -- and there's so much irrational emotional loading involved. Control / cure of HIV/AIDS is very worthy of your passion and dedication, and thank goodness you're involved in it. Education, so far, has been the best preventative tool. Keep writing!!
