iam with troosha in this dear; By contrast, I think people are inherently good and although some may carry around some empty form of religion as a crutch or face saving cloak, many carry a strong and abiding faith. It is sad how hypocrisy can dominate some scenario at times. And this piece is profoundly true on most level.

You are EXACTLY correct
imo this is the best piece i've ever seen you write...people won't like this because it's true. Truth is a false banner carried around by people to protect their own ego. And ego creates war.

Gosh, you're feeling really DOWN today, no?

Be optimistic, don't you be a grumpy, when the road gets bumpy, just smile. Smile and be happy.....

It's an old Shirley Temple song that Mom used to make us sing on days like you are having.

I sure do hope that you wake up to sunny skies and trees full of singing birds and happily whistling neighbors and that only good things happen to you, are spoken to you and occur to you all day tomorrow.

In a word, in answer to your question, NO!

I don't believe in the devil...
But even so, I understand the hypocrisy of which you speak. Kind of the "do as I say, and not as I do" syndrome.
Interesting thoughts, as always.

Doesn’t paint pretty picture of most people, Afzal.  By contrast, I think people are inherently good and although some may carry around some empty form of religion as a crutch or face saving cloak, many carry a strong and abiding faith.
