Re: Chai, all the way
Thanks Greenfields.. sounds like I am on the right track. I do need to hunt down some better tea though.

Chai, all the way
You have the technique down right, definitely.  I would advise using tea which is not flavoured (like a plain Lipton tea bag or loose tea). The steps are:

1.  Put the fresh crushed or powdered ginger, cardamon, cinnamon, cloves, sugar (if you want to) in the water and boil.

2.  When the water rolling boils, add the leaves or bags (1 per cup), till it boils again

3.  Add the milk and turn down the gas or heat for about 30 seconds.

4.  Turn off, strain if you use tea leaves and enjoy it.

We make a large pot in the morning and put it in a flask.  It's good for several hours.

Let me know how you make out.  Cheers.

Re:
I don't think your email was blah. I thought it was lovely actually. The tears I was writing about are of the giving birth variety.. happy, full of life, bursting at the seams with the flow tears. Hope you are OK.

Hey Rob...

Glad you got out and about and I hope you enjoyed your chocolate muffin (my favourite kind!) and your coffee.

So...how's the novel coming then?  Goodonya for working on it.

Sorry my email was so blah...

Funny, I've been sobbing my heart out today, too...
