Re: guilty feet have no rhythm
hey Melody.. nice to be back. 12 year old Rob is in Australia but I'm sure there's a 12 year old Melody who's got her own wisdom

Re: hmmm
I think sitting down and giving the pep talk, or even just sitting down first of all and listening, is absolutely the way to go ALocke

guilty feet have no rhythm
I would like to have a heart to heart talk with twelve year old Rob. I want to let go of my guilt and the "I'm not worthy to slack-off" attitude. Does he make house calls? So good to see you again.

Yes, I really get what you're saying. I am sometimes surprised by a confrontation with a young version of myself as well. Don't you wish you could sit down with this young you every now and then and give him/her a really good pep talk? I mean, if no one else did it at the time, you have to do it yourself...

It's good that you're able to somewhat release these feelings of your twelve-year-old self, Rob. I had teachers who didn't like me, though none ever smacked me.
Keeping my fingers crossed for you with that interview tomorrow. I'll say a prayer, if it won't offend you.
Please let me know if you land that job, okay? I've sent you my other email address, but no worries about that.
Keep talking to your little boy self, Rob.

Just wanted to say hi from a fellow aussie...
.....and its been almost a year since I wrote. I relate well to what you wrote about your school days. Oh how we were affected, damaged even, by those who we were supposed to respect. Thank God (or whoever, whatever) that our consciousness has evolved somewhat for the sake of our own children. Regards, Waterkat
