AH! Glad your sheet quest is complete but, I know of this dilemma...LOL...in fact, my daughter and I were just shopping for her new sheets while I was back home (resting?) LOL...but, we finally found ones that she would delight in. She chose, plain white and I appreciate that - the thread count is important to her - but me, I search the price.

benzinha, oh no. No dogs in my bed. Aloe sleeps
next to our bed, on the floor - in the winter curled up pn the carpet (with his coat on) and in the summer, under the AC vent. And they say it's a dog's life?

I do love plain white, high thread count cotton sheets and pillow cases.
I like them to feel heavy with so many threads and so crispy clean. I change mine often as I like to feel like a hotel visitor in my own bed......
I used to let the dogs sleep on my huge bed, then I bought a single bed and allow no dogs. Heaven....

I am glad you see eye to eye with me. As for choosing between expensive clothes and sheets, do I have to?

The funny thing about sheets in Germany is that they do have the "cover-adjusted" sheets for the mattress but no other! they sleep between one sheet under them and a duvet on top, nothing in between. And the pillow cases that we brought with us from N. Am. don't fit either: the pillows in Germany are big SQUARE things, not rectangular. So I do understand your plea.

I think sheets are important.
I don't like to sleep on printed sheets either and believe in a high thread count, high quality sheets. It's a luxury item for me and I'll spend more on sheets than on clothes. Happy sleeping!

I too am quite particular about my bed linens. So I understand the efforts you are making to have them be just what you like. After all we spend a good deal of our lives against the cloth that we sleep with. ~Peace, OTA
