How awful that you're going through all of this. I hope the "dust" settles soon...

It would be nice if you could resolve the situation without further damage
but that's not likely. If you have any other family where you could stay for the duration, I'd suggest you go there, and not put yourself in his reach. He seems not to have your interests at heart. Courage... :) pat

Oh, mneme, I surely hate to think of you having to go through all of this. My marital contentions were so long ago now, that they are no longer a part of my life--not even when I have to see him on family occasion. Will it never end for you? Please don't let him pull your strings.

I went through a tough divorce! Stay firm and do whatever you can to maintain your independence! The more you do for yourself the better off you will be! sam

Thank you Ciel.. he is as far as he ever was from taking responsibility. I take comfort from this, and try not to get too hung up on all the projection:
'Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.' Galatians 6.2

Kayzaamann, you're very welcome, but I'm not sure why you are thanking me :)

Reading through your blog--more power to ya
today and every day! Maybe it seems he is having it all his own way--but he isn't and never will.
As to the other baggage--I would not want to lift that weight over head... could end with a concussion!
