Hmmm...good question Afzal ~ I don't know a solid answer myself, but humbly I think being chained is as being yoked, burdened --- and well, my feelings go to 'prayer' constantly...I do NOT like the term 'chains' or anything that keeps me bound.

I agree with Taps Afzal... I will further ad that we are chained to our emotions anxieties and way of thinking because we are human and as such flawed:-)

Afzal, We are chained to our thoughts and emotions simply because they are ours. We form our thoughts and think they should be everyones. We emote and feel that everyone should harbor the same emotions. It is difficult to relinquish that which we have mentally birthed for that of another, something foreign to our own.

Have you tried xanax?
I'm told it works well to quell anxiety. Pretty addictive though. Anxiety really sucks ... I hope you find a way to deal.
