I was thinking as I read this piece, mneme, that I like it there as well.  Dotty and relaxed?

Hi Pat B
It was quieter today, thank goodness.  I thought about phoning the noise-abatement people to pay a visit :)

hey nautikos..
not digging any more at the moment, having staved my thumb and index finger (ouch). I do love my garden, though I am horrified at the furious growth of ivy that comes in from the field behind my house and grows all through the inside of the shed..!

azur, nice to see you here
I had completely forgotten I wrote this... I wonder what that signifies?  No, I haven't resigned, quite. My supervisor asked me to reconsider over this weekend. I sold another of those things today too. Now I'm wondering whether Malta, having recently gone over to the Euro, is geared up for Visa cash passports.

I noticed, however, that though they are free-issue, the system is geared up to price them 'up' - the exchange rate might be the same, but it's formulated to sell just that little bit more. No such thing as a free lunch - or card.

It's occurred to me that that's what went wrong in my marriage - an economist married to an idealist. No wonder we argued about 'budgeting.'  - thanks for sparking my train of thoughts again:)

Hi Mneme
Ah yes the wonders of a British bank holiday weekend. I remember almost always working

on  them, well on the Monday. So did you resign or not? I am just rehumanising after an intense period of work and responsibility

How nice to hear from you, if slightly exhausting...

I can almost see your garden. And happy you had time to get back to
blogging -- hope the noise on the job settles down to a dull roar -- working with all that clamor is stressful.   Keep writing.

Bless your heart dear one ~ but, you have done what I would do...garden, potter, puttle...pittle...do it all to restore the harmony in my soul that the noise and stress drains from us.  Oh and I am giggling at the mouse thingie, yes, I have one of those too and you know what?  Mine escaped, at the butter and I think even let its self out --- have no clue no where the little one went. ~ Thank you for stopping by and reading my blog ~ Have a wonderful day and weekend.  ~ElyseStress free weekend
