Thank you always for your wonderful comments. Today was a time of great joy as the new ones have grown and those who have been delivered tell their stories it is incredible what God does in their lives to set them free. God bless you.

Thank you so much for sharing this.
I have been blessed to never have been addicted to anything, but Jesus.
I've seen so much of it where I live and it is not pretty. I pray that God
will be with those who are addicted. I commend you for such strength and
honesty and my prayers be with you. My sister once dated a man who was
a dealer and he eventually was arrested and did several years in prison and
she was telling me that he told her that dealers are as addicted as the users
and need just as much help. I find that interesting that you mentioned
that in your writing. Be strong, God be with you.

These people are worth saving. They are gifts from God. Some don't make it, that is God's area not mine, but I will pray and do all that I am able. Be blessed my friend. Love to you and Kabu...

I agree with you. Children are getting smarter earlier but being children they are limited in what they can do to protect themselves. I read on Tap's post where you thought you were doing better, I am so glad. I will be so happy when you can stop the steroids if that can be. Love you.

Wow, Justi...........................
That was powerful, sad, but true. I don't know why these men think they own their daughters and can abuse them like that. It simply ruins their lives and in must cases, these creeps never pay for the horror. I think though that children are learning early in life that this is wrong and can end it before it progresses. I hope to God they are.
This is an excellent post. I pray you are feeling good and that George is well too.
Love you, Maggie

It is so sad how lives can be destroyed by child abuse and other abuses. I am glad you are there for them. sam

Re: So Much Understanding
Earthbeat, thank you so much for your comment. I would like to know more about what you do and how it is working out in general. Yes I see miracles. Yes God makes a difference. Yes these women are warriors just to keep their head above ground. God bless you.

So Much Understanding
Justi, thanks for what you wrote. The women you describe sound like the vast majority of my clients. They are heroes just for getting up each morning, and going on one more day. I am part of a system that is structured on nice, white, middle class lines, so it is sometimes more difficult to provide therapy in ways and at times that would best suit my clients. Notice I said suit my clients. I have a problem with systems set up for the convenience of the care givers only.
By God's grace, as you have, I have seen remarkable transformations -- often in the clients I would least expect to do so well. But I let everyone I work with know I believe in them and their ability to heal. Sometimes I am told later they figure they got better because I believed in them, and that wasn't something they have experienced a whole heck of a lot of in their lives. Sometimes they say, "I love you," and even though I am male, I know how they mean it, and usually I reply, "I love you, too." Or they will say, "What kept me going was I knew you loved me."
This'll sound strange to unbelievers, but I feel so blessed, because often in my clients I see Jesus, and I feel the Holy Spirit's movement blessing us.
Thanks again for a great article.
