Wherever you go, you experience the same thing

Thanks, saul_relative
Not a response I expected, but very apt.  And I agree, it pays to take inspiration wherever it might come from.  I also appreciate the excellent comments you left some time back on my poetry and sports blogs.  Although I'm a lifelong Tiger fan, I've followed the Red Sox since I was a youngster and began to realize Ted Williams was the finest hitter I'd ever seen -- an opinionion I still hold.  I also remember watching the Celtics when that now almost forgotten fellow named Cousy was their star guard.   And I believe it was Joyce Kilmer, who died in combat in WWI, who wrote the famous poem about trees.  Thanks again for your many perceptive comments.

There you have it, notapoet. Take inspiration where you can get it. And
go where it is most likely to be (if you've found it there before...)...
