It's always a challenge
and a fine line between the rights of workers who provide essential services and citizens.  I used to be a big supporter of unions when I was younger.  But, having seen how the unions and trade labour movements have let people down in many countries, I think we need a 21st approach to dealing with disputes and differences of opinion.  Organised labour and unions is not one of them, in my opinion.

Well, well, I can write to you in French then, can't I? We spoke both English and French at home when I was a child (in England). I have spoken mostly French since the age of 19 when I moved to France. I'm a linguist, was an interpreter so languages are no problem to me. I can speak almost anything you like. No merit, it's in my blood, we're all like that in the family.

I read your profile and some of your posts...you live a very intriging
life!  I have relatives in France and French was my first language...I still speak it with my dad, but I can't write it.  Anyway, just wanted to say hello!
