OTA.
Great idea - and a good way to engage with the process. If only my breathing were better I would be more pro-active. But, I will try. Thanks for cheering me on!

thank you for your comforting response and sharing. It's not as bad as what you experienced, so there is much to be thankful for. And, there are so many people around helping and comforting. Cheers.

Greenfields, Maybe take a before and after picture? It sounds like it will be so lovely when you get through all the mess. Hang in there. ~Peace, OTA

Greenfields...oh my Dear ~ I will empathize with you and yes sympathize. It will be beautiful ~ It will yes. (like a mantra keep saying this) ---- I have actually lived through 3 very large remodels in my 26 year span with my husband here so I can remember the days I thought I would not make it anymore...and yes, the stress --- the extreme stress of much that is involved. I think the worst time I recall was when the carpenters pushed us into 2 rooms, all 4 of us (daughter, son - my husband and I) and one small bathroom until they finished this year long process of renovating. A time before, pushed 6 of us into an area no bigger than 600 sq feet...-oh yes, and the mistakes and the arguments (between me and a builder one time) oh dear...he finished but he did not speak with me for the duration. only shrugged and hmmphed. all because I disapproved of how he placed some rather expensive tile in a way
his eye felt it should lie. Ach!!! I often say, I will NOT renovate again...and you know, I think its like childbirth, you forget the pain once it's over and the work before you is 'beautiful'... to cherish.

I'll be thinking of you, keep us informed. ~Elyse
