I'm glad you're well and busy darling. Irons in the fire was one of Mum's
sayings too. Guess those hot old irons for the clothes were a lot of work.

Justi, I love that expression, "I have so many irons in the fire". My mother always used it and when I was little I had no idea what she was talking about. The only iron I ever saw in the fire was the old curling iron with which she curled the ends of my pigtails and the stray hairs around my face.
