Are you ever tempted by the religion of Socrates?

"Holier than thou attitude is the worst kind of philosophy propagated by all the religion and sects of the world. God remains a silent observer laughing to Himself over the authenticity each group promises to hold in comparison to others with not much truth in them as claimed by one and refuted by the other."
I am amazed (but not so) of your wisdom here and for professing your belief, I commend you ~ God is smiling upon you Afzal...I believe this.

I could not agree with you more
As a converting catholic I find myself chafing at the idea that this way is supposed to be the only right way. I believe that all relligions have some portion of God's truth and when and only when they learn to worship in peace together can the fullness of God's wisdom ever truely be known.

For me religion is how I choose to worship God. A grand composition. So succinct! sam

I think that spirituality is a quicker, easier road to God.

i don't care who or what anyone else believes
because when that time comes, and we are no longer physically part of this earth, only what that person believes will count for that person. no one can be held accountable for anyone else. Now I have no idea what may lay on the 'other' side of that wall, or river, or sky, or where ever it may be. but I do know that only I can account for myself. As for as that "holier than thou" attitude, I have met far too many of them to even listen to them anymore. Everyone can believe the way they want, that is the way it should be.
