Talking about raccoons and opposums
I once saw a fight between a raccoon and an opposum in the backyard.  The opposum was attacking the raccoon and the raccoon was really very nice and just ignored the opposum and continued to eat.  It was really a sight for sore eyes.

Like you....
I grew up with little as well and I learned to reuse everything until there was nothing left. I learned to grow veggies and compost. I learned to sew and crochet (never mastered knitting). I never really cared if I was "in fashion" and now that I am I think "So what?" as long as I am doing what I can to keep mother nature healthy, myself healthy and my bank book balanced I am happy.

Gotta love those compost bins!

We've got one too, although we don't get any little visitors snooping around.

It's such a simple thing, that helps the earth in a big way--I can't believe everyone doesn't have one!

Justi, come summer, I'll just bet you have the best tomatoes and okra ever seen.   I wonder how many trees junk mail does away with every year.

Who did know, Justi? Who did?
Saw you were to see me, dear lady - makes me happy to know you were there.  Wishing you and George the very best.  Love you, Maggie
