i don't think there is any one answer to what love is. it is so very many things. i personally think it can't be understood without knowing hate also. just as with every emotion in the world, there is a counterpart. religion, to me , has nothing to do with love. Spirituality on the other hand, has everything to do with love. With your permission i would like to answer this on my blog, "why not dance"

Dear Afzal, in the questions are the answers. Religion is man made, G-d is Love and everything else is un-important. I believe that peace is found when one understands one is G-d, one is Love, not part of it, not created by it, but
