it must be like a hybrid 'name' given to this particular colored Alstromeria ~ Anytime I can help, please tug on me...I LOVE gardens and flowers.

Amazing. The bunch looks like the bunch at my florists place. And "sara" also looks like the detailed one I took the photo and posted it. I wonder if Sara is an endearment for Astromeria. Would your florist know? No rush. As and when you have time. Cheers.

Greenfields, I'm back from my first morning appt with patient and stopped by my florist...okay is this the same flower?? 
and these come in all assorted colors --- this is a bucket of them ~ the name of this flower is: Alstroemeria
and this is from a gardener's website this pic:

I know what you mean. I have not been able to remember names of plants, trees and flowers. But that hasn't stopped me from loving, lusting and enjoying them.

Greenfields, they are very beautiful. There sure are a lot of different kinds of lilies, so many beautiful types of amyrillis. What a variety of delicate beauty there is.

Greenfields, I am still searching this and may get out to my florist today, hoping she's open...but I'm too familiar with this flower

Greenfields, before heading off to bed, I found your blog here and I know this is a type of lily ~ asiatic? oriental? amaryllis, - maybe but delicate...I know this flower...am researching...will be back ~
