Little
warm creatures
inspire
hearts, minds
hatred is such a lost cause
when there
are mice and hamsters
waiting to inspire
our little creature
cause
resting
inside
those bottles
stacked on a patio
the mice, nest
nightly
they get eaten
by snakes
yet
they never leave
the bottle
is their home
being eaten
alive
is part of their life cycle

Plant catnip...
...to attract more cats. :)
But that is one seriously cute little hamster. I can see a lot of what he's eating going into his cheeks. LOL.
Too bad there isn't an effective mouse repellent but almost any smell that repels rodents works on humans, too. :)

Re: how cute is that!
My grandchildren have Herb, Herb, Herbie.....and he runs from his cage into the t.v. room to grab a carrot and then runs back to his cage....squeaks when they come in the door from school.
I think that he is a guinea pig.
I see that tiny little bit of life in the hand in the video and I know that absolutely all life on earth is precious.
I think that your fellow may actually live longer and stay healthier if you do cut down on the extra goodies. So precious is their friendship.

I love my teddy bear hamster ... he's maybe a titch too fat from all the goodies. Sadly they only live a couple of years, but they are such a treat!
