Your story just goes to show, that often the fear of a procedure is worse than the procedure itself. I'm glad you did it and you will recover totally very soon.

Many thanks for your enthusiastic response. I'm still trying to get the specialist on the phone! I am waiting for healing.......

Oh just I am thrilled....sounds like it all went well ~ and yes I would imagine it will take a bit of time to heal - and allergy season is upon me in Texas - could be... I'm glad you'll have followup and of course, you'll let us know. Just so glad it's over for you and its healing ~

I am terrified of procedures myself. And dental. That's another story! But, get it done and soon it will be over, sort of......

When you hear of procedures, esp. medical procedures, it makes one nervous, but glad it's over for you and you're alright...which reminds me I have a dental procedure to get thru, oh god

Thanks. I am so pleased to hear that your vision self corrected. Apparently that's what happened to me years ago. The retinal tear repaired itself. BUt, there was scarring, which is why I am having ssues now, according to the specialists.

I am happy things went so well for you. I know I get very nervous at the tought of any procedure that goes near my eyes. It was blurred vision that first sent me to the ER before being diagnosed w/ MS. It was frightening to think that my vision would have stayed that way.......I couldn't drive.....couldn't read.......Luckily.....my vision self-corrected. Nice to read you, again. Namast

Great Story!
'retinal detachment' sounds scarey to me as well!
