Some guys just don't get it.
When a husband expects/demands motherly pampering and attention from his wife, it's difficult for the wife to see him as a partner, let alone a lover. In my experience they don't get it: they're supposed to be taking care of things, picking up after themselves, being fatherly with the kids, partnering their wife. I hope your guy steps up soon and shares your life as a fully realized man.
