Dear Afzal, Thank you for your kind review of my poem, "For Bernard". I want to tell you that God had a specific purpose for your past and that is what has made you a more refined and understanding man today. (My poem "Love's Paradox" may be of encouragement to you.) Know this: you would never want to go back to your past, when you realize how far God has brought you to this very day.

Afzal
Your past has been incredibly hurtful, so it's quite natural that you would feel pain.

The best thing you can do is acknowledge what has happened to you. Recognize that it is over, and forgive (for your sake), and move on.

I have found this is the only way to let go of painful past experiences. Sometimes it takes a few times trying...but if you are able to forgive (acknowledge that you were hurt, and it was wrong, but it is over), the pain will go away mostly.

The past...
haunts us..But makes us stronger because of it..I understand where you are with this..But today is still a day that can always get better...A wise man told me once "past trials make future ones easier to take"...We are around if you need us..Nicely Written

Afzal ~ ~ those past things - trials - and all can come back and remember it's in the past and you're here now

Dear Afzal,

As you probably know, our dreams are replays of our subconscious thoughts.  They only mean what ever meaning we give them.  There is nothing to be scared of, listen to them, to your dreams, write them down as soon as you wake up, and then read them when you are fully awake.  They will contain hints and clues as to what is bothering you, maybe something you have repressed and need to deal with, or perhaps just something that has caught your mind's eye but escaped your reason.  Don't be scared of them, they are your own production and they can not hurt you, just help you.  Take care of you and let me know if I can help.
