Go to A DAY OR SO IN MY LIFE! WHO CARES?

The weather has been changing
especially over the past couple of years. I'm thankful every day that I live in a region that isn't prone to hurricanes, tornados, earthquakes, or flooding.
And I say a little prayer for the victims of these disasters--it must be horrible, to watch Mother Nature destroy your home and wreak havoc on your life.

I feel terrible for all the folks caught in flooding luv, it's been a terrible winter. If my sump pump goes down I'll be flooded pretty quick which is why I tell Kabu I can't leave here in the spring ever. I'll have to go to Australia in the fall.

Love ya's

I feel really sorry for those poor people. My house is in a location that is immune to flooding, but I have friends who had that misfortune. And we never get tornadoes in this part of Ontario. Makes you count your blessings, when you realize your only problem is too much snow, occasionally...

Justi, I pray for those caught in those flods. I know they can be devastating. I am a resident of Miami also, well Miami Beach but is right nest to it :-) and I know about hurricanes. As a child in 1968 I witnessed a hurricane that flooded Miami Beach from side toside and left fish jumping in the streets. Nature is Nature and we have to take the bad with the good. All we can do is to pray for the poor people that are suffering and hope that G-d helps them in His mercy. Great Post

Taps, those are my thoughts too. I would feel like saying enough already. I'm pitching a tent. I to am very thankful I have never been in either of these in a direct hit. Tornadoes have been very close.

Justi, I'm not sure that I could even go back in my home if it were flodded. It would be so sad to see it all so nasty, slimy, moldy. I think I would try to go on in some way without even looking back, but I don't know. I'm so thankful I've never had to make such a decision.
