Yes, that is so true. The pressure to 'do' is immense and increasing in our part of the world. But, there is also a movement to 'just be', which, as you can see, makes me very happy. Thanks for your comments.

It seems that the American sickness...
...of terminal restlessness is infecting the rest of the world...and that bothers me! I'm a doer also, but, I've always appreciated the value of "taking it all in." How else are we going to "smell the roses"...if we never stop along the path? Great post!

Greetings again Greenfields ~ I so enjoyed this whole post of yours ~ I can imagine while I read the almost sunset, the bougainvillea ~ how you organized the biscuits ~ I love your style ~
and I like your question: What about you? Can you just be? Or do you need to do? Do you feel guilty about not doing anything productive?
I can just be --- and I am a doer ~ but, am really trying to break the habit of DOING ~ so I'm learning balance...I make myself look at things that start to make me crazy LOL, make me get disorganized...make me get a 'tic' or pop my jaw (old TMJ) and it's then I make myself just "BE" --- This is a good reminder ~ Very good --- I like it
