In season?  In Delhi we get them all year round as in many other places.  I gather you are not in the same zone?

Hello Freenfields
Good old reminiscences on sweet papaya, and you remind me that it is so good also for health.

Yes, inadvertently the Dad part came out in the blog.  Interesting, no?  I too like to think it isn't a coincidence.  Cheers to your Dad and mine too!!

What a sweet reminder of your dad. I would like to think it's not just a coincidence the papaya blossomed in your garden.  !!  to your dad and mine  !!   Melody

you are most welcome.  I love pears too.  And, you are so right.  It's lovely to have fruit from your yard.  Very grounding and empowering!  Cheers.

I think it is a bit of an acquired taste.  Yes, you are right about the name and its meditative possibilities!

I've never had papaya...
...but, we had a pear tree in our backyard when I was a child and I thought it was so cool eating fruit from our own tree. Papaya sounds delightful. If I ever get the chance, I shall sample it. Thank you for sharing your delightful experience with us!
