Thank you for that positive outlook on the weather, jacenta. As you say, I can see things at a distance without glasses, which is something I couldn't do before. I see the optician next week but I will definitely have to get glasses. As for Ell peeping over my shoulder? Not only does she do that (I've got the monitor turned slightly so that she cannot read this part), but she corrects my grammar as well.

At least most of all this flustering stuff is behind you. You will be starting the spring out being able to see things at a distance well (even if you are like me and will need glasses for little print up close) and you will be enjoying watching the garden grow and the fruits of your labor blossom. You and Ell will be able to enjoy the new season together with all that snow you expressed you love so much gone. LOL
I'm glad your eyes are doing better.
ps. So does Ell peak at what you are typing now and then? My Hubby does.

I wouldn't say she was undersung, majroj! I'm always singing her praises, but the interview seems like an excellent idea. The problem I have is that she thinks Blogit is a waste of time and energy, and we sit two feet from each other on our own computers. She might notice if I was doing a piece on her.

Re: Hello johnmcnab
Hey, mneme. I must catch up with your writings as well. I used to like snow, honest, but here all it seems to excite in me is my back, arms, shoulders and legs. My chiropractor loves it, however.

Re: Great to see you again Mac!!!
Hi young ginnieb I 'see' your sense of humour is still razor sharp. We are being told here that the big one is on its way this weekend - the biggest storm of the winter. Beam me up Scottie.

Hello johnmcnab
Well, I haven't lived with it like you have, but I actually like snow. And just to p-you off even more, we are enjoying a beautiful spring here in jolly old England :) Boy it feels good - being back in England after so long:) Nice to see you writing in such good form. I'll now catch up with the rest that I have missed and get some background to your sight troubles.

Re: I wonder if we all get together and think spring, would it reach mother
Two of my friends spend winter in Arizona, Pat, and when they come back they irritate us all with tales of heat exhaustion - lead me to it. We were being informed on TV last night that so far,13 feet of snow has fallen this winter in our area, and the biggest storm of the year is arriving all the way from Texas, on Saturday. Excuse me while I weep.

How did you know Sira? It has taken such a load of my mind now that I can see where the on/off switch is.

TAPS
Darn it, TAPS, you've caught me out. I was hoping nobody would notice the times of my ops. Now I have another one on march 31st - mmm, if I work it correctly Ell should have the gardening all finished before I can 'help.'

nature and convince her to lighten up, send a warm breeze, let the flowers bloom. It's been so long and irritating a winter I'm considering moving to Tombstone, Arizona. All that dry heat and desert seems like a pleasant thing nowadays.

Mac, you're back!
I'm so glad you're starting to feel better, even if things are a little blurry. It must be so freeing, to be able to clearly see the bottles in the shower--no more mixing up the shampoo and conditioner bottles!

Johnmacnab, I'm sure glad you finally got back with us.
You've been off having "fun" for a long time now. You should be able to shovel snow just about the time the last snow melts.
