Thank you, TAPS.
I hadn't really considered that until you pointed it out.  It pleases me.  I believe in looking forward to better days, and in working my tail off trying to make them happen.

You're welcome, afzal
And I thank you for giving it a read and letting me know you stopped by.

Thanks, sam
You're absolutely right, too.  It is an excellent exercise for people, like yours truly, who tend to run on and on once they get started.  Learning to say a lot in a few words is a useful skill for any writer.

Excellent, soulspeaker!
That pretty much covers all the territory, and it's open-ended as well.

notapoet ~

Very interesting, indeed -- thoughtful.  I'VE GOT IT! -- the ultimate story in six words...

"And God said, let there be..."  Thank you for the challenge.  ~SS

Glad you think so, writerspirit
First comes the thought, then the writing.  It's an interesting thing to try.  Very short forms make you sweat a little, but they're good training.

Hi, wigopa
Have at it with my blessings.  That's why I threw this out there in the first place.  Have fun, and welcome to Blogit.  Let me know if you give it a try, by the way.  I'm so far behind in my reading I might miss it.  Luck.
