To love and not feel love in return...common dilemma of loving hearts. This moved me, your poem. My husband says people can only disappoint you if you let them, but I think I share your view. I/m sorry for your difficulties, but this, too, will pass! It always does!

My father left me with two favorite quotes he loved to abide by: 'Today is the first day of the rest of our lives' and 'This too will pass'. Hope you are feeling lots better by now. Your poem holds universal appeal.

Afzal, no one can let you down unless you give them leave to do so, just don't let it get to you, sometimes the little flies have nothing to do but to bother the mighty lion and he, in his humble greatness, wants to find meaning in their buzzing around his ears. Take people for what they are , sometimes that is not much but hey, that is them, G-d love them. :-) Wonderful poem
