I thought being asked to smell the pages was bad...

Now they want me to start licking them? Not this blogger--no way, no how!

I can't decide if this latest invention is showing a great knack for creative marketing, or a serious decline in sensibility...

I would be worried about who's been reading......

Re: Nautikos
Thanks, Wiley! You're the first one who likes my menu...And yes, Maclean's is an endless source of hilarious stuff...

Re: Naut
ROTFLMAO, Krisles! It was what in diplomatic circles might be called a 'deliberate misconstruing of your meaning' on my part! I knew what you meant, having myself been on occasion the unfortunate recipient of a 'fish'! I just thought I'd, well, intensify the flavour (note the 'u', Ginnie!) a bit...

Re: Flavor Naut?
Sorry, Ginnie, my bad, I promise I won't do it again, dropping our Canadian 'u', I mean.  Even if it saves time...

Nautikos
I liked your menu better my friend. I get Macleans and I never get a chance to read it but now you've told me about the free food I'll start reading.lol

Naut
A dead fish shake wasn't a flavor.....now that is a real yuck.....make that YUCK!!!!! It's the description of how a handshake from a man who doesn't know how to shake hands with a woman is....it feels like you're trying to move a dead fish up and down....I don't know, maybe they shake other men's hands like that, too.......   Anyway, in my mind, the kind of people who would drean up lickable magazines probably shake hands like that.......see.....that's what I was trying to say!......isn't that simple to follow..........

Flavor Naut?
Didn't you forget your 'u'?  Licking magazines! Ooooo....sounds like there could be a very nasty paper cut on the tongue!  Ouchie!!

Re: Oh, Nautikos, where do you find them?
Maggie, you should keep your grandchildren away from magazines anyway! Nothing good comes from reading that kind of stuff! It's enough to make anyone sick! And I wish I knew who pays these people...

Re: Nautikos
Good idea, TAPS. I always bring my own reading material to doctors' appointments anyway! I can't stand 'Reader's Digest' and 'Good Housekeeping'...

Oh, Nautikos, where do you find them?
This is YUCKY!  hahaha  I guess I won't be reading any magazines and will definitely keep my grandchlldren away from them.  Who pays these people to sit around and come up with these idiot ideas?  I see a lot of people getting sick - how about you, Naut?

Nautikos
I think that next time I go to a doctor's appointment I will definitely not pick up a magazine to thumb through.  It was bad enough when I kept thinking I might just run into fecal matter bacteria from someone who didn't wash their hands.  Now one has to worry about dried saliva too.

Nautikos
Yuck!  If I'm going to lick something artificially flavored when there are so many real tastes to lavish my tongue with.....I don't think I could even get enough saliva up to moisten the strip in a magazine...I mean, really!....who thinks up these things!!!....No, I know....I've shaken hands with them.....dead fish-shakes....that probably makes no sense to you but there is a connection to me........(okay, it's official, I'm weird)

Come on Nauticos: synthetic will never be able to imitate the real taste of real food! Only crap, once more! LOL
