-Re: I think George Washington was motivated to serve his country.

Whacky,

I am sure that Washington was a true patriot. All the founding fathers, when they formed our country and rebelled against a government that was out of touch and indifferent to the desires and needs, of those over whom they were in charge, signed their own death warrants if the revolution failed. I see none of their dedication and sacrifice in todays politicians. I just may write in Bo's name my ballot! Does he have a last name? Ha! Ha!

I think George Washington was motivated to serve his country.

Re:Your comment on my commentary

Sam,

It is refreshing to know that anyone else is up early and reading. I was beginning to think that I was the only one! Hearing that others enjoy my writing and/or agree with it, is a big motivator to keep banging my head against that wall on a daily basis. I always have thoughts in my head, but it's hard work to put them down in a manner that sounds right to me and conveys what I have to say, proprely. What drives me around the bend is when I reread something I have posted, and spot a typo or a mispelled word! Happily, there is an edit feature.
