Re: February!
ZenMom,
I, like most of my ilk, am essentially a non-violent sage. We all have a breaking point though, and I think that I can hear cracking sounds!. I wish my training had included Zen philosophy. I really could use it, now. Thanks for your coimments.

Re: Kamakazi deer!
Offy,
I drove to where the deer lay, on the side of the road and checked it out. The hind quarters and loins appeared to be intact but I was just too bummed out to even try to save any of it. All that is going on in my life now, just makes me sick at heart. To heap misery on top of misery, my father was admitted to the hospital yesterday with a bowel obstruction, exactly the kind of thing that I had hoped to prevent, by going down there and cooking a LOT of meals for him and freezing individual portions. Now all I can hope for is that he won't need an operation. In his weakened state, it would likely kill him. I hope that our visit can still go on, as now planned. Thanks for caring. I'll be writing about how this all turns out, later.

Wow...well Guy are you saving that deer meat cause at this rate you aren't going to be able to buy any darn groceries much less think of taxes...I am so over winter this year...please let the deer stay in their own space...I worry about hitting them too!
