Thanks, Original_Influence
I agree with your sentiment.  I'm getting tired of always having to determine who I believe to be the lesser of two evils.  It makes me sound like a broken record.

Thanks, katray
I really have little against Hillary except for the piece of garbage she would drag along with her to the White House.  And like you, I used to think highly of Ralphie-boy.  But I don't think he would make a good president, and I'm beginning to seriously question his motives.  I'd love to see a viable third party shake things up a little.

I agree, FineYoungSinger
That's why I encourage everyone to vote election after election.  I also fuss at complainers who don't vote.  My feeling is that if you don't have the gumption to go out and vote, you ought to shut up and take what you get without complaint.

I'll pass your comment on to Hillary, Sira
I think she's beginning to feel unwanted around these parts.  Sorry you don't have better choices.  But it's been a long time since I've had the privilege of voting for someone I think really deserves the job in question.  It seems to be election after election in which I end up voting for the lesser of two evils.

Hi, Soul_Builder
I'll check out the sources you mentioned as soon as I get a chance.  Another balky computer tried to put me out of commission.  I tend to agree about most of the remaining possibilities.  It's been a long time since I've gone to the polls without feeling I had to choose the lesser of two evils.  My personal picks seem to always get knocked out of the running early on.  I keep voting because I earned the right the hard way when I went off to war while still to young to vote.  So I'm damned well going to vote, no matter if I don't like who I have to end up voting for.

Good read...it is disappointing that we really don't have a good option at all.

Good post, Notapoet
I agree. I used to think the first real possibility for a woman president would be an exciting and hopeful time, because of the different perspective and energy of the female persona, but quite honestly, Hillary has an uninspiring effect on me. I appreciate Mr. Nader for the many valuable and needed services he has undertaken on behalf of the public and a third party with a viable candidate would be welcomed, but I don't believe he is the right person at this point. I hope he doesn't run.

When less than half the eligible voters of this country bother to vote,
I have to say that we've reaped what we sow.

At least you have options!

We're going to the polls in Alberta, and we only have 3 choices: dumb (that would be the conservatives), dumber (the liberal party), and leader of the Stupid Circus (the NDP's). Oh, and there's the newly formed wildrose alliance. They seem like the most reasonable out of the bunch, but they don't have a snowballs chance in...well, you know where, because they're so new and small.

If you don't want Hillary, we'll gladly take her up here!

Come to think about it, NONE of them will do us any good. They are all members of the CFR..the Council On Foreign Relations! Obama's wife is in it too. Youtube has some revealing videos on all of them. Ron Paul was my Champion....but they don't want him! So... lets make believe we have a say! Check blackboxvoting.org for how the pre-selected gets selected by Diebold and Sequoia voting machines.

Thanks, TAPS.
I'm glad you got a laugh out of it.  I had fun writing these and my new/old method for ultimately deciding who is in charge here in "I don't know beans."
