I am thinking about adopting a minature datshound
my last adopted doggy had to put to sleep with a hip that wouldn't stay in place.  I dream about him, too.  When I see pomeraneans I go through the grieving process all over.

Very realistic look into grief and death! The latter still confounds me! Maybe it was made like this so we seek a permanent loving relationship instead of small loves! Quien sabe!

Ah, those dreams...bittersweet, but the sweet always outweighs the grief.
This weekend my wife and I were planting trees -- we planted a dogwood by the back fence, and I scattered the rest of Beauty's ashes there. Now it's a real dogwood, for sure.

I think dreams can be a nice bridge to those we love and don't get to see much anymore, otherwise.
