I share your anguish, Azur, even if only second hand and half a world away. Take care.

Wow, Azur, I had no clue..my bad.
of course, our blogging history together hasn't been the greatest either. Anyway, a co-worker of mine is going through a similar thing. She has her surgery next month.
My thoughts are with you.

There is no doubt you're brave.

Courage is one step after another despite watery legs and self doubt.
As there is no virtue without temptation, there is no valiance without fear in the same person.

Well, that's good. You're in the here and now.
Love the comparisons you made in this one -- the strange phenomena of birthing and changes in the body drawing the same kind of reactions and support as strange growths and masses. You never know what people will do or how they'll react. :)pat

What a complexity of emotions is wrought by the possibility of problems, not just in health matters, but in all of life. It is so easy to imagine the worst and at the same time to be expecting the best.

Take care
and remember--it is what it is. Better to know, and be able to start treatment, than live in the dark and refuse to accept the possibility that it could be.
I'll keep my fingers crossed that all goes well!
