Re: Re: Re: SB,
I agree 100%! Some will tell us that since the days of the bible, God has stopped speaking directly to people. So unless we take it from Scripture, it is not genuine! Rubbish! All that is needed is God and his Devotee for a relationship to be! No translators and middlemen!

Re: It doesn't take a genius to see where we are heading, destruction.
Thanks Callista! If the scenario happens as predicted, I see good reason to choose a move and go with it! Being a sitting duck is all too easy. Prayer for guidance could give the answer. I could say that I pray and am close to God and nothing will happen to me. Could that be the Ego? Prayer must be backed up by commonsense!!! Wherever you go, avoid the middle east!!! There is only one safe continent!!!!

This must indeed be the mountain I am on right now! It feels like it! I see the many footsteps on the right fork and I daresay I need the rest! Thanks for this perspective!  SB

Prayer is essential! I see you are stocked with spiritual tools. I even heard about prayer wheels!  Prayer for guidance is important!!!

Re: very interesting however take for example a teenage girl nowadays
Thanks quietguy7! The system is destroying kids. Misery loves company! Nobody is really guiding them. They realize what life is only after they've been devalued by the combination of feminists and mamma's boys/predators. The system will pay though! Bad karma breeds punishment!!!!

Thanks notapoet! I do read widely but I still check out the older writers who have made my day many a time! Glad to have you around, again!!!

Thanks! You have raised several issues here. Our different takes perhaps results from our differing spiritual foundations. You are bound by scripture, I am not. If you take a look at my posts on VERSIONS OF THE BIBLE, you may understand why. As I see it there is a conflagration ahead. The bad guys will be responsible. What do we do to survive? While staying spiritual by fighting the dark side is fine, shouldn't we be praying for guidance so as to know what to do? Will prayer stop this coming war when it couldn't stop the first 2? What is the most workable answer?

Re: Re: SB,
There is a difference between running to God and running to a book, or the Good Book.  As a believer, I have been given the right to step into God's presence in prayer.  That is running to God.

Thank you! I can't say I know the future, but there are very good clues! We shall have to see if God will lead his people to safety. Those who say they are chosen are the ones perpetuating this horror story! We just have to hang on I guess!

Re: SB,
Thanks Yeshuan! I think one has to do both! The guidance could be wrong in the books, so personal guidance counts most!!!

Thanks Mariaki! It is getting to be very desperate! Yet all some can do is make life harder for others while going through their delusions of grandeur!!

It doesn't take a genius to see where we are heading, destruction.
But i have given alot of thought to running to the mountains where the three crosses are, and i am wondering if that is literal or maybe going to the mountain is going to god. and maybe the three crosses are faith, hope and charity.  I have always felt that god helps those that help themselves.

I hold a strong belief in the power of prayer. Hope you enjoy the following.

"Come to the mountain and listen to Me, says the Lord. For I have many things to reveal to you. The road is steep, but it has been traveled before.

Listen to the hush and the stillness that fills the air. There is the sound of small birds and other animals around you.

Continue up the path with your eye upon the peak in front of you. There is a fragrance in the air.

Sit upon the bench provided for you here. Gaze upon the distant hills and valleys below. You will notice that there is a haze and darkness that fills the land. There is a slumber that has filled the heads of many of the people below.

Get up from your place and continue your walk on up the mountain. Watch where your feet are now walking because the path now becomes rocky.

Now, you will notice that there is a "Y" in the road. You will notice there are footprints that have led in the pathway that leads to the right. Many have gone that way for it is the easier path. But when you begin your journey on the left side, you will see that it is designed for you. There will be subtle things that will help you to realize this.

As you continue on this road, you will now see the crest of the mountain right in front of you. Evening is approaching and the light is changing all around you.

Rest, for the journey will continue".

If prayer isn't enough I have a lot of back ups, like mantra's and Crucifixes all over my house, a rosary in the truck etc. I try to cover all my bases

very interesting however take for example a teenage girl nowadays
from her childhood to the time she reaches her teens shes bombarded with so much mainstream pollution that she thinks she has to have the latest in fashion, the best cell phone, the newest ipod, a man that will bring home the bacon and on and on and on and i work with a couple teenage girls now and its almost impossible to get through to them and although they may listen to a little of what others tell them ultimately they have to discover for themselves things of which you write about and lets jus hope for the sake of mankind all of us can...and as soon as possible for that matter

Interesting and very thought provoking.
As I've said before, I rarely comment on posts in this category.  I have to admit that I've also been lax in all of my reading lately.  I wanted to let you know I still read you with interest and plan to catch up on at least several more of your recent posts.

I agree we have to cut down the dark side. Prayer takes a lot of belief. When asking for something we need to know it has happened according to scripture. Praying for peace is an ernest way to strike down Satan, but we must believe he has already been struck down. Those who are praying and fighting in the name of God are fooling themselves because that went out with the Old Covenant. The Lord abhors His people being killed. They will not have their sins blotted easily if at all. The physical being is only important as long as we are doing God's will to secure a Heavenly home. The second part is that this life of ours was made to be enjoyed and scripture tell us it is going to be difficult, but drawing near to Him the world is less tragic. To defeat the 'bad guys' of the world our prayers have to be deeper than words, there must be a connectedness to God by everyone who loves Him. As is the norm, my very bright friend, you have stimulated my mind and for that I am most appreciative.  sam

This is a very interesting post about troublesome times which will come sooner or later.  I have always loved the mountains.  The thought of fleeing to the mountains is pleasing to me except I am afraid it is not very practical for an old lady.  Instead, at this time in my life forward, I think I should plan on being content with the "mountain" that Yeshuan speaks of in his comment.  Thank you for answering my question in the comments of your previous post.  I liked the answer that you gave.   Seeking fun is a waste of time, but enjoyment of life and of people, including laughter and sense of humor is a godly attribution.

SB,
While I agree with you on the premise of an inevitable destruction of the current system, I don't believe the mountain to take refuge on is a physical one, but, more a spiritual one.  Basically, we need to take refuge in the mountain of God's love!

Awesome my friend!
whichever way you look at it looks like its only a matter of time; I suppose all that remains is how we should spend it; mind boggling isn't it and could conure up some rather horrifying alternatives; thank you
