Sewing

My mom was a seamstress. She worked as many hours a day as she could. Since she passed

over a decade ago, I picture her in heaven sewing little angel booties and costumes. I sewed for

a while when I was younger. Not so much now. I don't see much difference between sewing

and writing. We both pick up pieces of material and pieces of ideas and sew them together with

a reference for what we are doing. If we do a good job, others will be pleased. If we do a bad job,

others will be displeased, especially us. I am a workaholic and need the freedom to go ever which way

when sewing together a blanket of art.

I know the feeling
I deal with it by making lists, dates, and deadlines.  This calender is in front of me, at my work desk.  When I finish something, I tick it off.  It's a great feeling.  What I can't, I leave for the next day.  If I don't write it down, it continues to be in my thoughts. Writing it down, by hand, helps to get it out of your mind.  Try it. Cheers.

I think the only thing you can do
is remind yourself that if you work until you get sick, nothing will get done! So try to take some breaks and ENJOY them.

I'd like to help, but I'm a slacker.
and I'm pretty sure it's contagious :-) good luck.  Decide to be happy either way.

Taking care of yourself first will enable you to stay strong in order to build your business to excellence.  Consciously give your self time to get the needed relaxation and rest a body needs.  Take care of you!

as you can see it's not only that I manage with English, I create the words, as well "workahicks" was supposed to be "workaholics" but it just came out this way. So, "workahicks" are people who get hick ups from work

I think you are on the right track as far as business is concerned.  You don't simply work 9-5 but now you have to work 24/7.

The good news is this is not forever.  Once your business is stable, you can hire someone to supervise and you have the luxury of more free time than those who are stuck on a regular job.
