It's comforting to know that I'm not the only one to realize people do sometimes have a change of mind. Al may be deciding right now whether or not the presidency would be a step down from a Nobel Prize and an Academy Award.

I'm pleased that you agree. I find it insulting that the popular news media and both major political parties seem to try to force us into decisions well in advance of the conventions. I miss the days when the party conventions actually decided something rather than merely rubber stamping predetermined candidates. The last election couple of elections should have taught them this is not always the best strategy.

Although, like the media, I've often been wrong in my estimations of political races. About the only thing certain at this point in time is that a new President will take office after the election.
