I can't explain any of it. But, please tell Ann she is a dear friend and I miss her story. Please tell her I ask you for myself.  She is depressed and at times a person just can get their bearings. i believe she likes you and will return when you least expect. i want my friend back. if you so desire please share my poem My Friend with her, it is after all about her.(and you, too)  sam

Hi afzal
Maybe the poor woman as seen and felt tomuch sorrow, that she finds it too hard, in carrying on. Depression also can slam the door shut on tomorrow, I fear. Though I do hope she does, selfish of me I know, but such an intriguing read,Sir. Mike

Afzal
It happens with all of us. It's just one of those things. Just be patient and be a friend and not make demands of her and she will likely come around eventually.

Could she be getting into some painful memories

that she doesn't want to think about.

Sometimes talking openly and honestly about yourself, especially when it's things that you find upsetting, is downright impossible for people to do.

If she hasn't made peace with the memories, or with herself, it would probably be hard for her to talk about her life to a group of strangers.

Hopefully you can convince her to carry on with the tale, because I'm dying to know how things turned out for her, and praying for a happy ending!

I wondered if she was aware you were sharing her story with the world.
Maybe she feels her privacy was violated?  But if she gave you permission, then it must be something else bugging her...hope to hear more.
