Afzal50,
Do not confuse Democracy with Facism! America is living a lie! Most think Democracy is about the right to vote and that voting gives them a voice! It is a very clever diversion!

check out some Noam Chalmsky....there are 2 kinds of democracy.

1. Democracy assumes that people can govern themselves, and are therefore governed minimally as they see fit.

2. Democracy assumes that people cannot govern themselves, and are therefore in need of contolling, invasive governing.

Guess which version of Democracy the US Government acts upon?

I would like to have one political. . .
hero in my lifetime. Maybe I need to look beyond geographic boundaries.

I just wonder why we address this at the beginning of political campaigns. It would be good to start now as you have put it out there for all to view.  sam

I teach history. My answer: we don't study how USA violated Constitution &

became the democracy we are. We need to study how the US Constitution does not provide for political parties...in fact the winner became president and loser became Vice -President...during Geo Washington's and Sam Adam's terms on offcie which ran for almost the first two decades of the Republic after 1789 when Washington ran & became first president. We must learn about this not assume AMERICA is following its Constituion. We can make other permutations of democracy...but the third world does not think; they borrow everything and habits from America. (Btw, what is the flower called in India. see pic below?)
