I for one, am truly thankful that I live in a country such as the United States-- which by its' very existence allows us to express our views and opinions on sites such as this without fear of thugs pounding on our doors in the middle of the night wanting to take us away for what we believe.

nOW IF obama GETS THE dp NOMINATION, i WILL SING THE GLORIES OF aMERICA TO

MY LAST BREATH--- even if he does not win the general elections. I want the Democratic Party to be less racist than the Republicans. We need the hope and the words that go along with that declared American Dream. Hilary....are u listening. Don;t tell OBAMA and poets that words are empty or filled with false hope. Your hubby came from a place called HOPE, Arkansas. Shalom

Laydi Daydi,
I am lost for words to describe the criminal conduct of this administration! I do know they get plenty of help in keeping the cost and suffering isolated to the Iraqis!

Afzal50,

Afzal50 you posed some very interesting truths:

The biggest purveyor of injustice is allowed to walk freely among unjust men! George Bush is a very strong advocate for the destruction of the human race! He is allowed to walk among leaders of nations who must in some form either fear or accept his madness! The latter possibility is the most disturbing to me. You must wonder about their commitment to the survival of the human race.

There is nothing new in this dysfunctional human trait. Colonialism was a very similar scourge on the human race. Even though "Colonialism" was the victor in the conquest of "Native Lands" it has never been condemned as the criminal aggressor! The European quickly set up economic centers and exploited resources to their advantage.

The conspiracy that led to the invasion and occupation of Iraq, Palestine, et al... is the blueprint of Colonialism. The leaders of America can allege benefit absent responsibility for the carnage because they control the debate through duplicity in corporate media. Nothing is new in this paradigm, we all know someone who will embrace injustice from a great distance.

George Bush is a leader of men who plot our destruction! Who will lead us against this well financed evil?

NPR's Marketplace told us 1-10-08 that Iraqi lives r valued $2,500 or less.
That's about 25X what the Army pays for dead sheep (collateral damages) and dead Iraqis killed only if proved to be killed by Americans, are worth about 8 cows (which are compensated $300. each). What a world, what a new world order, what benfits of American Democracy! We were better off under despotism, communism, and other isms!
