Yeah, maj, the rawhide clogged up one doggie's intestines in our family years ago and none of us buy them anymore.....real bones, real, enamel removing bones.....cooking is also a nono the vet said, so I do the gross, raw bone thing.....beef, too, as pork splinters more and gets totally consumed much faster, which scares me about their intestines, again.....
I envision a pride of lions on the Serengeti and get into that for the doggies.....they are eating a zebra downed by the pack. Poor envisioned zebra....

Re: bones, sam444, are not the same to me anymore, either.
I used to use them to flavor things, and now I just hand them out like raw popsicles to this crowd....thanks for reading and writing.

We used to get "patas" for our pitbull mongrel.
They lasted longer than rawhide "bones". Wore down her teeth, though.
